JENNY MINER, PRESIDENT
Jenny has two kiddos at Prince of Peace, Leo (4th) and Layla (2nd). Her love for POP runs deep! She personally attended Prince of Peace grade school many many years ago and loves that things have come full circle with her own kids. She is currently a stay at home momma (or chief home officer of the Miner Household). Jenny volunteers her time with the bread runner group here at Prince of Peace as well as anything she can do to help out within the school! She tries to insert herself into activities like the Christmas store, holiday parties, field trips, class volunteering or helping out in the office as much as possible. Jenny loves to continue doing all she can for our wonderful school!
JULIE WYER, VICE PRESIDENT
Julie Wyer is a busy mom of three boys at Prince of Peace, Weston (8th), Hank (7th) and Charlie (4TH). She is a volunteer extraordinaire over the many years her children have been attending POP. She has organized tailgates for the gala, assisted with the Christmas Store, served as a room parent, field trip volunteer, and organized many class parties over the years. Julie previously was an EMT for 11yrs, Police Officer for 7 years and volunteer firefighter for 2 years. She continues to help with trainings for the local police department. She appreciates this role within the PTO and being involved with the continued success of our school.
KATIE BUTENHOFF, SECRETARY
Katie and her husband Blaine and we have been parishioners at Prince of Peace for 10 years. They have four kids who attended the EEC and are currently moving through the grade school WAY too fast. James is in 5th grade, Thomas 4th grade, Alice 3rd grade, and Claire is in 2nd grade. Katie taught middle school science at Cure of Ars for 10 years before staying home to wrangle babies and toddlers. Now that everyone is in school all day she is an occasional substitute teacher at POP and the Olathe School District. Katie loves a new binder for notes and to do lists and her role as Secretary.
SHALA KOELZER, TREASURER
Shala Koelzer is blessed with two boys, Brayden (6th) and Grayson (3rd) and her husband Aaron. She has previously served as Treasurer on the EEC PTO Board and has volunteered for the School Gala and Christmas Store, among other POP activities. Her full-time job is a Physical Therapist for St. Luke’s South Hospital where she also serves on multiple system-wide committees within the St. Luke’s Health System. She looks forward to being more involved in the success of our school!
LISA LOMBARDO, MEMBER AT LARGE
Lisa has three children currently at Prince of Peace - Jack (3rd) and Eddie (1st) and Cece (Kindergarten). Lisa has served on the Gala solicitations committee for 3 years and helps out as much as she can at school by volunteering as copy helper, kindergarten classroom helper, Christmas store, fall fest, etc. She looks forward to being more involved in PTO now that all three of her kids are in school!
EMILY TRITZ, MEMBER AT LARGE
Emily is honored to be part of the PTO this year, serving in the Member-At-Large position. She currently has two children at Prince of Peace, a 6th grader and an 8th grader. Her oldest son is a sophomore at St. James Academy. The Tritz family have been members of Prince of Peace parish since 2007. They have really enjoyed being involved with and helping out at various school events over the years. This year, Emily is serving as Field Day co-chair again! She is looking forward to a great school year.
KASIE BROECKELMAN, TEACHER REPRESENTATIVE
Mrs. Kasie Broeckelman is a first grade teacher at Prince of Peace and serves as the Teacher Representative on the PTO Board. She has been a teacher at POP for 17 years. The Broeckelman’s have two sons, Everett is in 6th grade at POP and Brighton is a freshman at St. James Academy. She looks forward to continuing to serve the students, staff and families at POP!
