Our Catholic Faith
- Prince of Peace Catholic School students are immersed in faith throughout each day. Students learn that faith is not isolated to a certain time of day or day of the week but is part of all they do.
- Each school day begins with prayer and scripture. Students have the opportunity to pray throughout the day including morning prayer, prayer before snacks and meals, the Angelus at noon each day, and end of day prayer. An intercession book is kept in the school office and we pray for student, family, and faculty intentions each day.
- Students attend Mass weekly, pray the rosary together on Fridays during October, gather for Stations of the Cross during Lent, and participate in adoration during the school year.
- Students participate in religion classes each day and faith is part of learning. Virtues are integrated in Peace Family lessons and saints who have displayed these virtues are highlighted. Our younger students participate in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Students learn to use Christian values in friendships and at play.
